 The seminar “Canvas to Career: An Online Artist's Guide to Building Your Digital Portfolio” was successfully conducted on March 9, 2026, at St. Joseph College Olongapo Inc., Senior High School Department. Led by Ms. Hershelle Hannah Agasa, a freelance artist and Gordon College student, the session focused on the fundamentals of freelancing and the importance of building a strong, clean, and consistent digital portfolio to attract potential clients.

The discussion highlighted practical tips such as regularly updating one’s portfolio, maintaining visual consistency, and offering client-friendly services that match the artist’s style and value. As part of the organizing team, I contributed by creating the presentation materials and assisting in the execution of the seminar.

The event was made more meaningful by the active participation of the students and the support of the school administration. Overall, the seminar was a successful and enriching experience that provided valuable insights for aspiring digital artists and freelancers.

  The Skyrocket Collective           The Skyrocket Collective held a webinar titled “Scene Synergy: How to Balance Interactions between 2D Characters and Environment Art” on November 22, 2025 , via Google Meet and Facebook Live from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.      The session was hosted by Ms. Hershelle Agasa , with Ms. Alyssa Beatrice Dela Cruz from Top Draw Animation, Inc. as the speaker. The discussion focused on key animation concepts such as physics, weight, contact, the 12 Principles of Animation, and basic character anatomy and placement in 2D environments.      The webinar felt more like a relaxed podcast-style conversation rather than a formal discussion, which made it more comfortable and engaging for everyone. The event featured Mr. Mark Angelo Quindara, a 2D Animator from Mega Cat Studios, who shared his expertise on game animation, particularly focusing on smooth animation cycles and the impact of visuals in both games and films.      The seminar introduced valuable insights into pixel animation, which is one of the speaker’s specialties, making the discussion both refreshing and informative.
